Dietetic Program

The GEGPN employs two Dietitians to provide clinical care for individuals and groups. The Dietitians work as part of the RPHSP team and MSOAP team to provide services in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Leonora, Laverton, Norseman, Esperance and Wiluna.

We help people understand food and health relationships and make dietary choices to get the most out of their lifestyle by;

• assessing people's nutritional needs
• giving advice on nutrition and diet for general good health or for special needs such as Diabetes, Obesity, Heart Disease, Coeliac Disease etc.
• implementing and managing nutrition services and programs

Our services:

• Outpatient clinics/Individual Consultation
  Kalgoorlie-Boulder:
  Collins St Surgery, Tower Medical Centre, Plaza Medical Centre, Lamington   Medical   Group,Boulder Medical Centre, BEGA Garnbirringu Health Service, Goldfields Women’s Health Care Centre (GWHCC)
  Remote areas: Laverton, Leonora, Wiluna

• Group Education
  - Lifestyle Modification Program (LMP)
  - Healthy Lifestyle Program (HLP)
• Other dietetic services as requested
