The GEGPN employs a Dietitian to provide clinical care for individuals and groups. The Dietitian works as part of the MAHS team providing services to Leonora, Laverton, Mt Margaret, Esperance and Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
Services provided in these remote areas have a strong regional focus in collaboration with local GPs and health services. During 2005-2006 the Dietitian has been involved in improving the nutritional intake of school aged children in Wiluna as part of an extension of an Early Years program operating from the Aboriginal health service, NACCHMS.
